As the health care field and technology's role in diagnostic, therapeutic and
research activities continue to expand, so too will the need for biomedical engineering
technology professionals. These technologists, with a foundation-level understanding
of biological processes and skills in both engineering software and hardware,
are essential to this multidisciplinary field, in which engineering technology
